Who needs a UK ETA?
Travelers from visa-free countries (not from the EU/EEA) visiting the United Kingdom for tourism, business, or transit. This includes passport holders from the Netherlands, Australia, Canada, the US, and many others.
How long is a UK ETA valid?
A UK ETA is valid for 2 years or until your passport expires, whichever is sooner. Each visit may not exceed 6 months.
Does the ETA cover Northern Ireland?
Yes. The UK ETA is valid for England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
How far in advance should I apply?
